Victoria pushed open the doors that led to outside where it was raining. The ground was covered in water and there were bigger puddles that sat on the paved ground. Victoria avoided a puddle she was just about to step in. Rain was still coming down but it was much worse earlier. She couldn't resist the chance to come outside in the rain when it was this nice out. It wasn't pouring and she was sure she wouldn't get sick from just a couple of hours in the rain. She pulled her hood loosly over her head and zipped up her gray sweatshirt up halfway. She pulled her pants up a little bit hoping that the ends of her pants wouldn't get wet but it didn't help.
She continued to walk and when she looked up she saw that she was only a few feet from the courtyard. She scrunched her eyebrows together as she tried to remember when she had turned around going in the direction of the courtyard. She shook her head slightly and decided to spend her time here instead of the wet grass that kept getting the bottom of her ripped jeans wetter as the seconds went by. She grimaced as she could start to feel her socks getting wet. She considered taking her shoes off and go bare foot but she decided against it.
She reached the courtyard and looked around. There wasn't many people out since it was raining and was a tiny bit relieved. She just wanted to enjoy the peace and rain in silence. She sat down a bench and then stood up quickly. The bench was wet and Victoria sat on it and now her thighs and butt were soaked in water. She sighed and sat down again seeing as she was already wet. As she sat there she was beginning to feel weird in her wet socks and shoes. She bent down and took her socks and shoes off. It was no use trying to wear wet socks. Her feet felt for free and she began to enjoy the weather.
With her feet bare, wet pants, and hair dripping she looked around trying to reconize someone. There weren't many people she saw. There was one person with an umbrella and Victoria wished she had one now. Victoria was just to eager to come outside and forgot. But it felt cool to be out in the rain. She sighed again wrining out her wet hair but knew it would be no use seeing as it'd get more wet as she sat out there. At the moment though, she felt content.

Jonathan wandered through the courtyard with his hands in his pockets. He hummed an old Tortallan tune as he dodged many students. His appearance certainly caused many girls to turn their heads. Great Mithros, he thought with amusement. And here I thought getting away from court was a blessing until now.
He glanced up as he heard thunder rolling in the distance. He thought about the legends his parents had told him about the gods. The thunder was Mithros's huge sword as he swung it at Chaos. The lightening was her shriek. Sighing, the prince ran his hand over his dark black hair. His sapphire blue eyes were filled with amusement.
The Tortallan prince was dressed in a shirt of his favorite royal blue. His jeans were of a lighter blue. A gold thread hung from around his neck. Even though he did not wear necklaces, the priests had persuade him before he left, saying it was for his protection. I have my magic and the Gift, he thought with a growl. Should that be enough for them?
Jon certainly didn't mind getting wet. The training masters had trained the boys in all kinds of weather. He was very use to it. Ahha, the prince thought as he saw another girl by herself. She was from his house-Hufflepuff. That much his Gift told. Can't hurt, he thought as he walked over.
"Hello miss," he said pleasently.

Thunder boomed and Victoria closed her eyes. This was perfect and wished it would never end. "Hello miss." a pleasant voice greeted. Victoria's eyes flashed open as lightening flashed across the sky. Was he talking to her? Victoria looked around to see that nobody else was near her. She looked back at the boy and he was looking straight at her. She inclinded her eyebrows slightly since he had called her a miss.
"Hello." Victoria said staring right back at him. She studied his face and soon reconzied him as a 5th year Hufflepuff. She racked her brain for a name but none came to her still. She looked at the sky and then around her. Nobody seemed to be outside anymore as the rain poured down harder. "You're Jonathan, right?" she asked a name suddenly coming to her mind. Victoria was sure he was that boy named Jonathan Garcia who was a year younger than herself. [/size][/blockquote]

Jon grinned. She knew who he was. Thats good, the prince thought with amusement. Well she knows who I am here at Hogwarts. He ran his hand over his hair, lost in thought for a moment. He pulled away from his thoughts with a grin. "And I know who you are as well. Miss Victoria West,"
The one thing Jonthan did not want to lose(for the sake of his mother) was his princely manners, or he would call them. Great Goddess mother would have a fit if I get rough, he thought while smiling gently. The young prince had seen his mother in a blown-out temper before. And that was not a pleasent memory. He considered himself lucky that his father got away with no marks at all.
Lightening flashed across the sky. "I simply love this weather," he remarked to the girl. "Its so calming. And of course I'm out in all kinds of weather," he commented with a laugh, thinking about the training master.

She took his answer as a yes and playfully rolled her eyes. Of course he knew her name. Most people did anyway unless they lived under a rock and just crawled out from underneath it. Lightning flashed across the sky and Victoria jumped slightly from the sudden light in the sky. The sky was getting darker and Victoria was getting more excited as the weather was turning for the worse. This was her favorite kind of weather along with the sunny weather too since she liked to be out in the sun too.
"I simply love this weather," he remarked to Victoria suddenly breaking the silence after another flash of light in the sky. "Its so calming. And of course I'm out in all kinds of weather," Jonathan added. Victoria had to agree with that. This was calming weather and if it wasn't...she probably wouldn't be out here at the moment. "Yeah...it is, isn't it?" Victoria replied. She felt a bit weird sitting down and him standing up. Of course she just realized this.
Victoria scooted over and patted the spot next to her. She quickly wiped off the puddle of water that was building up. When he sat down Victoria felt slightly better. "So why do you think everybody else doesn't like being in the rain?" Victoria asked. She herself thought rain was the best weather in the world and didn't have a clue to why people never played out in the rain. Victoria always did when she was a child, but of course her mother would yell at her to come inside so she wouldn't get sick. That always ruined the fun.

Jon grinned as she rolled her eyes. He looked up as he noticed everything around grew darker. It excited him that he was able to be ot in this weather. His mother would never allow him to venture out. I'm a growing boy mother, Jonthan thought with a grin. I can do my own stuff.
"Only to certain degrees Jonathan Jaylen of Conté!"[//i] he could almost hear Skinkokami's voice inside his head. "People do not like a stubborn prince. You can be stubborn to most degrees."
You have a point there, he thought dryly. Oh well. He sat down next to her while smiling his charming smiling. The prince shrugged at her question. "Some people just like different types of weather," he sugguested. "But I, myself, like most voilent weather." his eyes were twinkling with amusement. "I'm like that."

Victoria turned to watch his face and saw amusment written across his face. She raised her eyebrows at his reply and couldn't agree more. "Violent weather has to be the best. It always calms me down for some reason." Victoria said. So far, since Jonathan had come, they had two things in common. One was that they were both in Hufflepuff which was very obvious, but the second one was they both loved violent weather. "My favorite kind of violent weather has to be tornados." Victoria mentioned. "I went to America once during summer break and there was a huge tornado." Victoria said with awe in her voice. "It had to be the best thing I've ever seen." Victoria added shaking her head as she was remembering the picture in her head that she always kept.
Victoria shut her mouth realizing that she'd been talking to much without involving Jonathon much. Rambling was her weakness and often rambled when she was talking about something she loved. "What about you?" Victoria asked. "Or do you like violent weather in general?" Victoria asked. It wasn't often when a Victoria came across a person with the same interest in violent weather.

Jon's eyes widen. "Great Mithros a tornado?" he breathed. "Well aren't you the lucky one Victoria. Back home I don't encounter much voilent weather. The mages tend to move it away from the palace," he added while stretching his legs. His eyes twinkled up at her. "But once in a while when I'm in a very good mood I'll persude them to just let the storm roll by. Weather mages," he grumbled under his breath.
He grinned. "I'm a very volient person my dear. Just don't get on my bad side or I'll get mad," he advised her. He then reached out a hand and twirled her hair between his fingers. "Then again I do tend to cool my temper down once in a while. Its a habit of mine. You think mine's bad you should see my mother's," he told her with a wink. "Hers is ten times as bad as mine." he then grinned.
[OOC: it'll be longer next time. For now though I had to rush cause its way past bed]

"Yeah I guess you could say that." Victoria said. She guessed she was lucky to see a tornado at all. Here in England, there wasn't much violent weather at all. The States were probably the most well know for their tornados in the midwest and central America, and their hurricanes on the coast of the Atlantic ocean. It was amazing how just one continent could draw so much violent weather towards it. Of course Victoria wasn't the best at that kind of science, so she had no clue why that was. She shrugged it off and was brought back to Earth.
Jonathan kept on talking and without any warning he took a piece of Victoria's brunnette hair and twirled it between his fingers. Victoria felt heat run to her face and tried to make her face calm down. "Oh really? Then I'll have to make sure I'm on your good side." Victoria said and a giggle slipped out of her lips. It was too late now and she wiggled her toes in the puddle that had formed as the two talked away. Had it been that long, or was it just raining really hard that it was making puddles everywhere like mad? Victoria wasn't sure but it's not like she wanted to go back inside anyways.
