The night was cool with little wind. It was the perfect time for Annie to go into the forest. With that decision set she waited for the common room to empty. She wanted to make sure her sisters were sent off to bed. When the last of noise had disappeared Annie quickly got up and ran out of the common room.
She could feel the transformation changing already. And I haven't made it into the forest yet, she thought with amusement. The night air felt good on her as she made a dash for the forest. She got onto all fours and she changed into a white tiger. She had wandered around for several minutes when she felt someone watching her.

A panther sets back in the dark green foliage. It's bright eyes shone through the bush, just waiting for prey. Who knows? It could be a juicy rabbit or a measley newt. A twig snapped and in came a blond human. "Perfect," the panther said to itself. It silently moved back before coming closer, then closer, then jumping through the bushes and attacking the human. "Annie!" it yelled. The panther was Miles Appleby all along.
{[Bad beginning! xD]}

The white tiger whirled around before turning into Annie. She growled, yet her eyes sparkled with mischief. "Mi, you brat," she teased gently. "What are you doing out here?" there certainly seemed to be a much happier and gentle Annie nowadays since Brian had asked her out. She was in heaven when he had said he liked her...
Come back, she told herself sternly. She growled and shook her head. She sat down on a fallen branch, looking at the panther.
[OOC: poor mi. did you register as an animagus? I didn't see your name on there.]

{[xD The 'panther' was used metaphorically.]}
Miles jumped off the white tiger. "Bwah! You're not Annie!" she teased. She laughed and brushed her hands on her shirt. "I should ask you the same thing... it's called the Forbidden Forest." Of course, Miles was eleven years old, a first year Hufflepuff, and Annie was a seventh year Hufflepuff and a seventeen year old, a big difference with Miles. "And why are you so calm?" she asked. "Don't tell me it's a boy." She had a best friend relationship with a boy and developed a small crush on him. But he was a Muggle and they wouldn't see each other for a whole year. There were three of them actually, Miles, Sean, and their other friend (and Miles's best friend for life) Winter. Sean could be spending a whole year with Winter and probably develop a crush on her, not Miles. Her shoulders slumped and her smile faded a bit at the thought. Love potions weren't the answer, either. It was no good knowing that a boy liked you not for you but for a spell.

Annie cackled evily. "As if such a thing would keep my wandering in tacked." she told her little sister, eyes bright with mischief. "I have been wandering the forest ever since I first came here. Its been a natural thing for me." she shrugged. "I couldn't sleep actually."
She turned crimson at her next question. "Maybe," she teased her sister gently. "You know Brian Dalls? The Ravenclaw 6th year and our childhood friend?" she was about to say 'my' but decided against it. Her eyes twinkled. She then frowned. "Are you okay Mimi?"
