Aiyanna Boleyn walked quietly up to the tower; her step was short but powerful. She was Princess Royal Aiyanna Boleyn, of England and the Isles, enthroned to Prince Elric ‘Strider’ Crawford. What a life, she had a head of her. She was engaged. She was Queen in her own sense. She owned this area… Or at least would soon anyways.
She didn’t think much of the Prince; she wanted a challenge; and perhaps a little freedom. Mainly because she’s never been to Care of Magical Creatures class nor to a game of whatever they call it. All these times she simply sat by the window in the Ravenclaw common room, and smiled. I mean what else could she do? The sun was her enemy. The paler her skin the better, the marriage, right?
Now she was out by moonlight. And at the tower, and since her room was in a tower this place felt right at home.

Brielle groaned softly and buried her face in her hands. She didn't want to sleep, so she'd decided to sit by the fireplace in the Slytherin common room for some peace and quiet. She didn't think there would be a mob of useless younger children hanging out, but boy was she wrong. The high and squeaky voices of little children echoes throughout the Slytherin common room like nails on a chalkboard. Brielle didn't think it'd last long, but it was like these children refused to go to bed. A group of third year girls gossiped about other girls and their crushes. To Brielle, it was all nonsense. Unimportant, trivial matters that didn't mean a thing. And she simply couldn't take it anymore.
Jumping down off the couch, Brielle started to make her way towards the door. She took special care to kick a few of the prized possessions of the younger students out of her way. She might have kicked a couple of legs in the process too, but she wasn't worried about it. "Move" she said to one group of first years that were gathered by the door. After pushing through them she kept walking. Brie needed to get away, and she decided that one of the towers would be a good place to hide.
She ran up the stairs, determined not to get caught. If she heard one more 'seriously?', one more squeal she would explode. Finally, she reached the highest tower. Brielle could feel herself calming down as she entered it. She hopped up on a ledge and swung her body so one of her feet could dangle outside. Brie leaned against a pillar with a sigh. Suddenly she was aware of another person in the room. "Lovely night, isn't it?" she said in an acidic tone.

"Lovely night, isn't it?"
Lovely night, isn't it? She mocked in thought, Your Highness, Your Grace, Dear Princess! This is why she wasn't the best to socialize with. She brushed her hair out of her face and looked at this girl with her icy eyes. "Yes, I'd imangine, I've never seen the sky much before." Aiyanna said simply, looking up once more.

Annoyance rushed through Brielle. Why is everyone so polite around here these days? That was the thing about Brielle, she simply couldn't stand pleasantries. At least not tonight. Her big brown eyes drifted to the sky above. A small smile spread across her lips at the sight of a shooting star. I wish everything could be simpler.
Brielle traced the the carvings on the ledge with her fingers absentmindedly. Then again, a lot of the stuff she did these days was absentminded. "Sometimes I hate this place," she said only loud enough for herself to hear. Closing her eyes, Brie pictured herself back in Spain. God, I can't wait until Christmas, I need to get away. Thinking about her second home made her feel a lot better. "I was being sarcastic earlier, you know," she said suddenly. "This night is far from lovely." Brielle let a quiet and bitter laugh. "By the way I'm Brielle Temple." I don't know if she even cares. But then again I don't either!

Why is everyone so polite around here these days?
Aiyanna Boleyn had always been polite, and correct, after all she was abnormal and higher up than this bloody girl across from her. This had been forced on her since she was a little kid. It was life, the more polite you were the father you'd get, and now she was enthroned, to Crawford. And that just made her Love him right there. *Hint sarcasm*
"Sometimes I hate this place,"
"I do hate this place," Aiyanna said simply, she much enjoyed her life at court, or what was left of it, at least. Now that she was to be Queen. She turned to look over the railing that separated us from falling over, "This is my kingdom," she muttered, "Mine."
"I was being sarcastic earlier, you know,"
She laughed, "I know," she said, "But my answer is still the truth. I have never seen much of the sky before," she said simply, then laughed at the one day where she looked out the window and saw people on brooms! "How is flying anyways?" She asked changing the topic.
"By the way I'm Brielle Temple."
"Princess Royal Aiyanna Boleyn, Princess of England and the Isles, enthroned to Prince Crawford or Wales," She laughed, of how she hated to write that down "But here at Hogwarts they just call me Aiyanna." 'Princess' is the word that separated her from everybody else.

Brielle couldn't help but to smile at the girl's words. "Finally, someone who's honest," she thought aloud. Of all the things that irritated Brie, it was the dishonest, cheery personalities of most of the Hogwarts students that got under her skin the most. Or is that really it? Brielle was at a point in her life where she felt perpetually stressed out. It was especially brutal because she was worried about her OWLs more than ever.
"How is flying anyways?"
The small smile on her face grew even bigger. Maybe that's my problem...I haven't flown in a long time. "It's absolutely wonderful," she said sincerely. "If you can imagine all your thoughts being lifted, and being calm for awhile...that's flying." She laughed. "It's even more amazing at night."
Brie couldn't help it, she was starting to feel better already. Sometimes it was nice to talk to a complete stranger. "What's it like being royal?" Brielle could remember when she was younger how she'd thought about how fun it's be to be a princess. But what little girl didn't? Eventually she realized that she would be terrible in a royal position. In Brie's world it was her way, or the highway. And then there was the issue of her weakness when it came to power - she didn't think she could ever get enough. Some things are so much better when left to those they're suited for, she thought with a smile.

"Finally, someone who's honest,"
Aiyanna laughed at that, “I don’t think I’ve ever encountered someone who was ever honest.” She said, “In all of my experiences,” she smiled at Brielle simply. She wondered if Brielle would be jealous of her, since most were, I mean right off the bat, she was ¾ Veela. You try making true friends when every man in this world loves you?
"It's absolutely wonderful,”
Aiyanna looked at her oddly. She had always wanted to try flying on a broom. But her father forbid it before her first flying class. It was sad really, since ‘the outside never got you a husband,’ in her fathers mind the inside was for the ladies and the outside for the men.
"If you can imagine all your thoughts being lifted, and being calm for awhile...that's flying." /// "It's even more amazing at night."
“I could only imagine!” She said suddenly, “I’ve never flown before,” she said sadly, “father forbids it; it’s too dangerous.” She said. She looked up at the sky once more, and adjusted in her uniform. If it wasn’t a dress it made her uncomfortable.
"What's it like being royal?"
She laughed, everytime a person asked for her name should would reply, Princess Royal Aiyanna Boleyn, Princess of England and the Isles, and it always brought up the question: What is it like?
“Well,” she started, “It keeps you from being normal, and hides you from things… Its not all glamour…” She said, “The only thing that it teaches you, as a woman in to speak wisely, and learn the skill of conversation well…” She said simply.
“But some people, like my father, and step-father, are dangerous with power.” She said, “But the up and coming King will be not a problem to handle, Crawford…” She said. “Is to easily lacking in a back bone.”

Twisting her hair around her small fingers, Brielle drifted in and out of her thoughts. "You know, I guess that's right. No one's ever going to be completely truthful." A dreamy expression spread it's way across Brielle's face as she looked at the moon. "But that's not the important thing, really." She smiled. "It's more about who you let catch you in a lie, and if you know how to control it." A small sigh escaped her. "It's just that so many people at this school have lost themselves in lies." Brielle laughed softly. "You know?"
Brielle glanced at Aiyanna for the first time, an expression of curiosity on her face. She knew she had every reason to dislike her. So why don't I? "Ah, but sometimes the forbidden fruit is the sweetest," she said suddenly, quoting her Abuelo. "D'you think you'll always follow the rules?" she asked softly, partly for Aiyanna and mostly for herself.
I wonder if she thinks I'm jealous of her? Brielle went back to staring outside and running her fingers through her hair. "Honestly, I can't even imagine." Brielle smiled at Aiyanna. "Well that's one thing that is normal, then. Power is a universal gift, and a universal threat."

"You know, I guess that's right. No one's ever going to be completely truthful."
She laughed at this statement. “If you would have grown up in court you’d know that no one is ever truthful,” she said, “My mother pretends to love my step-father only because he is king.” She said. It was nothing but simple fact for her. “So I only love Prince Crawford because he is King.” She said. Lies are everywhere. You must sort them out.
"But that's not the important thing, really."/// "It's more about who you let catch you in a lie, and if you know how to control it."
Aiyanna smiled at this girl, if she was luck she could be made lady-in-waiting. “Yes, that is vital,” she said, “If there is no evidence there is no crime.” She laughed at the thought, “You speak like a true Slytherin.”
"It's just that so many people at this school have lost themselves in lies."
She smiled, “I know! But who hasn’t at one point or another? Just look at the ministry. Pathetic liars.” She said plainly. “And that’s from there next Queen.” She smiled.
"Ah, but sometimes the forbidden fruit is the sweetest,"
She laughed, since she had heard that phrase before. “It is the sweetest,” she laughed, “My family would be the ones to know.” Us royalty wanting everything. And all the forbidden marriages.
"D'you think you'll always follow the rules?"
“Well, I’ll be the one making the rules soon,” she said simply, “Since Prince Crawford is such a push over.” She looked up again.
"Honestly, I can't even imagine."/// "Well that's one thing that is normal, then. Power is a universal gift, and a universal threat."
She laughed, “That’s what we all want you to think, but power really, is responsibility. Even now I could starve the entire country, yet I choose not.” She laughed, “But people like Tom Riddle, or the Dark Lord abuse there right, and must be taken down accordingly. It is not him in power you see. It is I. Or at least will.” She laughed, but she was getting to far a head of herself. Anyways.

"Thank you," Brielle said with a rueful laugh. Right now, Brie wasn't sure if that was a good or bad thing. "And you're definitely a true Ravenclaw," she said honestly. "You know, I'd be scared if I was the Ministry. You don't sound too...happy."
Brielle swung her other leg over the ledge and scooted a bit toward the end. Her small arm wrapped around as much of the pillar as possible before she looked down. Her stomach dropped and a small smile danced across her face. This is stupid, I could fall any second. "Sometimes being reckless is good." Brie spoke softly, mostly thinking aloud. She leaned her head against the pillar and gently swung her feet back and forward.
Thought rushed the Brielle's head, forcing her to shut her eyes. "Is it scary, to have that much power?" Or is it more scary when you fear it could be taken away? "You don't agree with The Dark Lord then? Why?" Brielle couldn't help feeling curious. At the moment she didn't know what side to be on.

"Thank you," /// "And you're definitely a true Ravenclaw,"
She laughed at that, “Yeah were smart and talented but we can’t put one foot in front of the other sometimes.” She said simply. “Unlike Slytherin,” she laughed.
"You know, I'd be scared if I was the Ministry. You don't sound too...happy."
“No body knows what lies they are telling us,” she said simply, “And I don’t like liars,” She looked up with a determination in her eyes, “While I am Queen the ministry will be reorganized.”
"Sometimes being reckless is good."
“Perhaps thinking is better,” she challenged. “What would you do in my position? Being married off, and gaining power?” she asked simply.
"Is it scary, to have that much power?" Or is it more scary when you fear it could be taken away?
She laughed “I don’t know,” she said honestly, “I’ve never had it taken away.” She said in middle of a thought, “But I think when I get full power I might go overboard,” she laughed, That’s why father wants to marry me quickly.
"You don't agree with The Dark Lord then? Why?"
At the moment she does not know what side she is on. “I think he can have power, but not supreme,” She laughed, “I know that’s forward to say to a Slytherin, but…” She trailed off. “He needs to rethink his strategy, and what he’d give to have all this power.” She said simply, “To get power you must sacrifice yourself… Truly yourself.” She said half-talking to herself.
