They have always said that curiosity killed the cat. Now we all know that's not always true. Being curious is a natural part of life that people can't help but to act on in most instances. Curious can be a good and bad thing most times, you never know what the outcome would be if you know what you're doing or what to do in some circumstances. To be curious wasn't a crime...was it? No perhaps not but there could always be a time that it was...just if you were in the wrong place at the very wrong time, then it was a crime but little minor things were alright.
As Andrea made her way across the school grounds she thought about what she was doing. She had never been in the forest before and she wanted to know what was really in there. They had all been told it was really dangerous in their first year of school and that they were not to enter it at all. Of course some students didn't listen to that rule but Andrea was one of the few who had actually done what she was told...until now that is. She was desperate to find something new out about the school that she would do anything that was in her power and that meant to take a lot of chances and shake off any fears that she might have.
She took her time to get there, checking every so often to see if there was a teacher or prefect present and when she realized that there wasn't she quickened her pace before reaching the edge of the ever terrifying forest. She came to a halt and just looked in to the vast darkness that surrounded it greatly. Just by looking at it you could see why it was forbidden...obviously it was for a good reason.
She was tempted to turn around and go back but she told herself that she was not going to chicken out just like that. She had gotten out of bed to see what lay in there and she would do just that, she just hoped that it wouldn't be the last thing she ever did in her life. If it was then who would miss her? She didn't think very many people would but then she stopped to think of her sister,Andromeda, and Ted Tonks, and of course Elysia...she could never leave them; that was her family and to her that was the most important thing a girl could ever ask for in life.
She took a deep breath and continued in, wand out and ready for if there was an attack by anything or anyone who could be in there. She was ready for about anything that was to come in her way. She might have been one of the nicest ones but she was still a Black and had an a certain likeness for respect and if it didn't come her way then she would do whatever she might need to.
She could hardly see a thing. Remembering that she could use magic and there was a really simple spell that she had completely forgotten in her unapparent fear she muttered "lumos" softly and the tip of her wand illuminated and the area around her lit up, making it much easier to see what she was doing and where she was going. She listened carefully for if she would need to run and she heard hooves near by. She knew centaurs weren't the friendliest of creatures to humans, so she stood her ground...ready for almost anything.
