Neville gave her an evil glare but soon enough cracked from her laughter. "Just don't do it again." He replied grinning. He turned his attention back to path towards the lake. Eagerly, he quickened his pace and noticed that Taylor was having trouble keeping up. He knew he probably should've slowed down, but he thought of it as a little revenge from scaring him to death, twice.
As they turned the corner, Neville could now the lake. "Well, I'm pretty sure there were some interesting plants underneath that tree..." He said motioning to a tree not to far from there. Neville remembered when he had first found the place. It was around his 4th year, when he was talking to Harry about the 2nd challenge in the Tri-Wizard tournament.
Something told him that Taylor probably wouldn't be so interested in the plants as he would be. "Here we are!" He said excitedly and turned to face her. "This is the perfect spot for searching for seaweed and other underwater plants." He commented. Neville seemed to be bragging a bit about his knowledge of Herbology, but it was the only thing he was good at.

Taylor smiled, "Fine..." She pretended to whine. She tryed hard to keep up, and she could tell he was doing it on purpose. Normally he probably would have slowed for her, but she could tell it was revenge. She walked faster to catch up.
She followed his gaze to the tree he motioned to. She could see how excited he was getting. She smiled, and was glad he was happy. "Sweet." Taylor said once they were there. All the trying to keep up had tired her out. Well, not a lot, but enough where she wanted to sit down. She laughed and plopped to the ground.
She listened to him talk about a few things they could find there. She smiled again. "Well, let's see then." She said and slid over to the edge of the water. Looking out in the water she sat there for a bit. Then she turned around and looked at Neville. She was debating if she was going to end up in the water or not.

Neville smiled proudly as Taylor seemed to be interested in what kind of plants there were. He began to roll up his sleeves as he gazed down at the water. There were too many ripples to make sure exactly what was down there. "Hmm...." He mumbled to himself while trying to think where he should search first.
Cool lake water surrounded his hand as he plunged it into the murky water. Neville bit his lower lip once he touched something big and slimy. Even if it was a plant, he certainly didn't want to pull it up to see what it was. His fingers roamed around a while until he finally pulled out a plant. "Here we go..." He muttered softly while looking at the soggy dark green leaves covering the plant. "It's amazing isn't it? Absolutely fantastic!" He exclaimed almost more to himself than Taylor.
Smiling, he turned around to look at her. "Just look at the texture...so many patterns." He said grinning out of amusement. "I bet there are more." He added. "Erm, do you want to look at it?" He asked not sure if she was going to be very active or not throughout this activity.

Taylor sat on the ground watching Neville look into the water. She looked into the water and watched his hand wander around the messy water and then he picked up some kind of plant. She watched him examine it, enjoying how he was so happy and having fun looking at it. She grinned from her spot on the ground.
She listened to him talk about it, and all its features and things like that. "What is it exactly?" She asked curious. She leaned over more to take a look. "Like, what kind of plant? Do you know?" She asked. She was actually truely interested, it actually looked pretty cool to her.

"I'm not quite sure, I could probably figure it out after examining it back in the common room..." He muttered while still gazing the leaves. He felt like he was getting lost in all this new exciting information, so he quickly shook himself back to reality. "Here you can look at it, too...if you want." He said with a small grin and laid the plant down in front of her.
Smiling, Neville plunged his hand into the lake water once again. He was hoping to get something he had never seen before. His fingers wrapped around something soft, so he took his hand out. Before him was just some soggy seaweed. "Ehhh..." He said a little disappointed. He took a few steps more into the water and searched deeper.
"Hmm..." He said to himself while furrowing his eyebrows. Searching for plants can take a lot of concentration, for that's what Neville always thought.
