Aubrey was looking around the Hogwarts grounds like she always did when she was incapable of sleeping at night. Soon though she found herself on the fifth floor, and when she looked out a few of the windows she could see the stars and the moon shining back at her. She leaned against one of them and looked out with a sigh.

It was one of those nights. Nights when Hallie could not sleep. She was just somehow full of energy. She jumped out of bed, put on her robes and slipped on her slippers. She saw the no one in her dormitory was up. Shrugging, she went out of the Hufflepuff Dormitories and made her way to the Kitchens.
After dropping by the Kitchens and asking for some sweets from the house elves, she went for the grounds. The grounds has always been nice during the day and classic during the night. She magically opened the ancient double-doors of the school and marched out in the moonlight.
Hallie scanned the grounds and it looked empty. Not a single soul stood in the darkness like her. She sighed and started walking towards the lake. Smiling as the chilly night breeze of September brushed her cheeks.

Aubrey decided that the grounds would be more interesting so she went towards the Lake in an instant. Upon walking there she noticed a Hufflepuff student doing the same thing, Aubrey simply sat down underneath one of the trees and watched the moon shine upon the lake's glassy surface.

Hallie smiled to herself. She just wanted to laugh that moment. She had been smiling to herself like a mad woman every minute of that night. She felt really weird for smilng to herself every minute. Shaking her head and chuckling a little, she walked towards the lake and took a deep breath as happy memories with her friends at Hogwarts flashes back to her.
She eyed her reflection on the lake¡¦s surface and grinned. She saw the moon and the stars twinkle above her. She was so out of the planet that she did not even noticed a new presence enter the premises.

Aubrey couldn't help but chuckle at the Hufflepuff girl...she just seemed to keep on smiling despite everything that was going on around her. Finally Aubrey spoke, "Beautiful isn't it?" She was mainly referring to the lake and the sky.

Hallie wanted to bang her head on a tree or something. She felt really weird for no matter what she does, she just could not stop herself from smiling. Then she wanted to laugh suddenly. I'm going crazy! Hallie exclaimed inside.
"Beautiful isn't it?" She heard a voice that no doubt belongs to a girl. The voice made her jump. It was not actually the voice that surprised her, it was the timing. She turned around and saw a student, like herself, sitting down just there. "Oh hey. Yep, it's brilliant." She said in reply.
"You really startled me." She said, smiling at the student. "My name's Hallie and I'm from Hufflepuff, what's yours?" She added nicely. The girl's face was familiar but she never knew her name. [/color]
