Roberta was used to the beautiful days that could come at the beginning of the school year but then there were the days that were just blah and no fun at all. It would often rain way too much and eventually get a little too wet to do anything out there. But rain never stopped her from going and enjoying the outdoors at any cost. It was those days that actually brought out the little girl that had once existed. Luckily but still unluckily for Robby it was one of those extra rainy days that seemed to drag itself out of nowhere but it wasn't a total horrible thing.
With one quick glance out a window Roberta Threw on her robes and left the great hall in a hurry. She was studying and should have kept up with it but once she saw that it was practically pouring she could resist no longer and had to be out in it. She passed a couple of her friends from her house who had stopped her. After quickly explaining what she was doing and earning a couple of 'you're crazy' looks from the others she continued with what she was doing.
She made her way out of the front doors of the school and to the school grounds that she was so familiar with. She looked around and it was rather hard to really see anything but even in a blizzard she would be able to find her way around, no problem...except for the fact that she may run into things here and there a few times but that could always be overlooked and forgotten. She knew where she wanted to go. People might think her extra crazy for it but it was the first thing that came to her mind...the black lake, the best place to ever go if you needed to think.
She made continued her way towards the large area of water that was the lake and she found her favorite place and sat though it was unusually wet. She tilted her face upwards towards the sky and allowed the hard water droplets to hit her face. She had been born on a rainy day so she supposed that was why she enjoyed being out in it so much...this was the prime example. Most would wonder why she was out like she was for it wasn't one of the most beautiful days imaginable but it was nice and well...to her the rain was calming, it was something that really attracted her.

Liz had been studying for the O.W.Ls that she would be taking the the year that was to come. "The galaxy Andromeda was primarily named for..." She whispered to herself and trailed off trying to think of the answer. Sinistra had taught them that one before, she had actually told the whole story behind it, so why couldn't she seem to remember it anymore? She was supposed to be a Ravenclaw was she not? And she had taken sufficient notes in classes as well. She flipped through the pages from the years before and sighed when she found nothing on Andromeda, she figured that she had lost or forgotten them at home before the new year had started...she would regret it in the end, she just knew it.
She closed up her astronomy text book and looked out the window, smiling to herself when she saw that it was raining. This was her favorite sort of weather. It sure did beat the hot and humid temperatures that had come with the summer. Her sisters both loved the sun and dry but she preferred the rain and wetness but she knew that the middle sister was partial to both of the things that were a natural part of life.
Moving on to the next subject, potions. That was at least something that she understood...along with charms and then of course DADA, those had always been her absolute favorite classes though she did find Snape to be a little bit unfair to her house and the houses of the others but she didn't really care for Ravenclaw or any of the others but she was always alright with the Slytherins seeing as her sister was one and in her last year at that. She didn't want Robby to leave but she knew that the time did have to come for a fact.
She studied the context of her potions book several times on one chapter before finally moving on to the next one. She wanted to make sure that she had everything down and not be missing anything at all...every little detail was important to and for her so there would be no playing like they weren't. If she was going to fail she would rather have it be by a little bit rather than by a lot. She was not ready to have one horrible grade on something as serious as this at all...never once had she gotten a bad grade, this was not the time to start.
She reviewed that subject until she was no longer able to concentrate at all. She looked out the window of the Ravenclaw common room once more and shook her head as she saw that it was now pouring instead of the light rain that it had been previously. She wanted to go outside and that was what she would do. She grabbed her normal jacket instead of a cloak like most would do for they were much heavier and warmer at times, unless it was winter of course and went out the doors of the Ravenclaw common room, down the steps of Ravenclaws Tower, and out the doors of the entrance hall onto the now drenched school grounds.
She looked up to the sky and allowed the raindrops to heavily pound onto her face. The cold, falling water felt refreshing on her face and her body, it was certainly a relief from the dry, humid air. She looked back down to the earth level and saw the ever familiar red hair of her older sister but what was Roberta doing out like this? She ran over to the other girl with a curious look on her face and her head tilted slightly. "Berta? What are you doing?" She asked her, confusion written all over her face.

Roberta turned when she heard her younger sisters voice. She looked at the Ravenclaw girl with a look of curiosity in her eyes. She wanted to know why she was out there...she could get sick, whether it was minor or major she didn't care, she didn't need her getting any illnesses whatsoever. Her sister wasn't one to be asking her any questions at all...it should have been the other way around, whether that was what she believed or not.
She looked at the younger girl carefully. Everyday she saw her it seemed like she grew up a little more each and every day. It was hard to be believe that time was going by so fast. It was her last year and yet she had trouble actually accepting that. It was the time she had waited for since as long as she could remember. She had always wanted to just get out of Hogwarts and now that the time had arrived she didn't want to go, she wanted to stay. It was odd but so very true and also very confusing.
After what seemed to be forever she answered her sisters question "It's raining Liz." She said this simply and as if this was the most obvious thing in the world. She knew that was probably confusing her but Lizbeth was a smart girl and could figure out that she really didn't know what she was doing outside herself. Wringing a part of her now drenched hair out she returned the question. "What about you Lizzy? Why are you out here?" She asked this with a little more demanding behind it instead of sounding nice and sweet like her sister had done to her. See...Roberta didn't have to answer to Lizbeth but the Ravenclaw fourth year would always have to answer to her older sister, it was just the way that things worked.

"It's raining Liz."She smirked at her sisters answer. She always had something to say like that. It could be rather annoying but life was like that most times and one had to deal with it. Things with Roberta were to stay the same, no questions asked. She was always the odd one who had the weirdest customs, but still she was her sister and she loved her to death for it. No matter how crazy the girl could get she was still the same old Roberta Natalia Christophe.
"What about you Lizzy? Why are you out here?" She really had no idea why she was out as she was. She supposed it was because she was bored but if she had said that then it would be a lie and she was not known to lie to family. "I was studying and the potions started to be a bit too much for me so I came out here when I saw the rain, you know I've never been able to resist such a thing like this." She said running her fingers through her own now soaked hair. She knew that she would regret coming out side on a day where it was pouring, her hair would not be a pretty sight.
She looked at her seventh year sister with a little smile on her face and she couldn't help but to laugh. They looked like a pair of fools standing out there but she didn't care, she found it hard to laugh lately and this was one of the times that she would never stop until it was the end of her. Crazy it was true and whoever was to pass them by might think that they were mad but this was them and if they didn't like it then they would just have to deal with it.
