One of his many weaknesses is his lack of organization. He always has so much on his mind, that his thoughts get mixed up, as do the things in his room...

They went out for a year before breaking up. They re-met four years later and haven’t strayed from each other since.
What can you say about your friends?(3 sentences min)
“My friends are the type of people who would never ask you to change what you think to hang out with them. Though they do not always think with the same openness as I do, they are careful not to close their minds too tightly. Many of my friends are my opposite, the type of people who bring me out of my shell when I need it.”

Quote from another site where Malachi is Mathew Marks:
Mathew shook his head, smirking lightly at the girl beside him. It was true, he'd never lived in the Artic, but he had to admit to himself he doubted it would be any better than his current living arrangements. Well, I suppose you never know 'till you try, he thought. e would, of course, never convey his doubts about her home to Emily. It wasn't worth the argument it would cause, and he really didn't want her to call him a wuss.
He thought for a second about asking Owen, but knew in an instant he would have to, the second of thought wouldn't change his mind. "I'll have to se if he is, though I'd guess he would be, especially since the two of them are graduating." I'll just have to suck up the guts to ask if it'd be cool if I came with him.
He thought about what they'd do up in her home. He'd get to see everything she always talked about. He could bundle up and trudge through the snow with her and throw snowballs and feel the ice with every crunch of his feet. He would see the igloos and she could introduce him to their tribe. They could sit by the melting streams and she could point out animals he'd never even heard of before. They could lay together under the real northern lights, the ones like they were beneath now, but would feel the cold and Alaskan wind.
Snapping out of his daydream, Mathew realized he'd been staring at Emily for much longer than he'd intended to. Quickly looking away and up at the northern lights, he pretended the sky was more interesting to study than her fair features. He tried to think of something to say, but was suddenly feeling tongue-tied. He never got tongue-tied around Em! It was very peculiar.
"So... umm... your dad won't mind? Me going I mean. Although... well I could say... I mean... umm... I guess we could pull off the whole 'I'm here to hang with Ean thing.'" He winced inwardly at how awkward he'd just made the whole thing sound. It was too broken up. He had hopes that she wouldn't notice, but figured she did. Quickly covering his tracks, he laughed. "Wow, my brain and mouth defenitly were not meeting up."
