Roberta sat there in the Slytherin commonroom in a chair by the fire not really having that much to do. The day was going by so slowly and nothing interesting seemed to be happening. Bored out of her mind was what she was, why did it have to be so pathetic? She had no idea what was wrong with people but they had better start shaping up soon or else there would be no hope for sanity within the walls of Hogwarts. Resorting to the last thing she could think of she rummaged through her bag and pulled out the only book she carried that day, she always carried such a thing for moments like this...she normally wasn't one to read for absolutely no reason unless there was nothing better being offered to her and well obviously this was one of those times.
She tried not to be too interested in what was going on in the area but she couldn't help but look up when a few other Slytherins came in but of course it was no one she knew and no one she wanted to know either. She rolled her eyes as she recognized them as a few fifth years she had seen sorted all but five years ago, the younger years weren't even worth her time...if they were anything it was a nuisance and most of them had little respect for those who were older, you could honestly be trying to help them and they would have some sort of rude comment...when all you were trying to do was tell them not to busy themselves with the wrong sorts of people.
She went back to what she was reading, she wasn't thoroughly entertained or impressed by the book but it was better than not having something to do. She had no intention to look up if someone should come in again but when they did she saw some sixth year girls come in with a few fourth year girls and boys trailing after them, again she rolled her eyes and thankfully they didn't even acknowledge that they had seen her...it was not the time for arguments. She leaned back so that her head was hanging off of the side of the chair and sighed, boredom really wasn't a good thing.

Draco Malfoy was absolutely bored. The Golden Trio, Draco’s favorite people to bully, were nowhere to be found. Draco did enjoy picking on those three, and now, they could do nothing. Their dear mentor, Dumbledore, was dead. And now, in his place, was Bellatrix Lestrange, one of the highest ranking Death Eaters and Draco’s own aunt.
A scowl plastered on his lips, he headed towards the Slytherin Common Room. Luckily for him, it wasn’t too far from his current position, near the kitchens. He climbed up the stairs to the Entrance Hall, and then down more steps to the dungeons, his home for seven years.
The Dungeons, a dark, dreary place that not many people ventured to. The home of the Slytherins, and their domain. Most people didn’t go past the Potions class and Snape’s Office. Draco was rather happy that Snape returned to the post of Potions Professor. He did not like it when Slughorn was the professor. Slughorn did not favor Slytherins, and he did not pick on the Gryffindors, as Snape did. Slughorn actually liked the three Golden Gryffindor.
Draco stopped in front of a stone wall. He leaned close to it and whispered the password. These days, you had to whisper your password, so as to not reveal it to snoops of other Houses, incase they heard it, and used it to sneak into their Common Room. The stone slid away, actually being a hidden door, and entered the Common Room.
Upon entering, many heads turned to see who was entering their domain. Many heads quickly turned back as they saw it was Draco Malfoy, practically royalty now in the House of Slytherin. Draco scanned the Common Room, looking for anybody to talk to. With a smirk, he found Roberta Christophe, a friend for several years. She had especially helped him last year, comforting him when he needed it.
Roberta was splayed along an armchair; she seemed as bored as he was now. She wasn’t turned to face him, and a horrid idea entered Draco’s mind. He quietly crept behind her and grabbing her shoulders. At the same time, he said “Boo.” It was a rather quiet word, but loud enough for her and several people around her to hear. With a grin, he sat across from her, waiting for any criticizing words aimed at him from her.

She felt someones hands on her shoulders, she was annoyed and was about to tell them to get off or else it would be the last thing they ever did but then she heard a familiar voice say “Boo.” and she rolled her eyes as she said 'Draco' In her mind. She saw him sit down across from where she was. She positioned herself more comfortably before turning on her side and facing him, glaring and pretending to be angry with him.
"Bloody git" she said softly and rolling her eyes again. She didn't mean it of course but he was lucky that she hadn't meant it or else a lot more would have come her mouth. She wouldn't let him get the best of her, she usually tried not to let him know he was getting under her skin but for some reason that was always the hardest thing for her to do when it came to him...probably because they had been friends since their first year at school in the first place and he knew from experience how to bug her.
She opened the book she was reading earlier and made like she was more interested in it than him. As her eyes skimmed the page she had left off on she realized that it was just as boring as it had been earlier and if she continued on it then she would die of pure boredom if that was even possible...if it was then she would be the first to know and if it wasn't then it was a miracle.
By the third page or so it was getting to be too boring. She closed it once more then let it fall to the ground gently, looking over at her friend and tried to think of something to say but nothing came to mind besides. "How was your summer?" Not a good way to start but at least it was kind of a start at conversation.
((OOC:Sorry it took so long))

Draco smirked at the glared directed at him. He knew that she wasn't truly mad at him, she never was. But it was amusing, nontheless. "Ah, yes. I have been known to be a git, as some tell me." He informed her, folding his hands and placing his pointed chin atop them. He was leaning forward, his elbows placed upon his legs, looking at Roberta.
By her expression, Draco assumed that once again, he had succeeded in annoying her. She picked up a book and started to read it. But Draco noticed that her eyes scanned the same place several times upon several occassions. This filled Draco with the feeling of succeeding that often came when he successfully annoyed or cursed someone.
Draco waited patiently, until she finally cracked and asked him a question. How was his summer. Hmm, what an interesting question, to say the least. "My summer was fine. Filled with lovely gatherings of the purebloods and visits to the Dark Lord. So overall, it was not too bad, not too good. How was yours?" A smirk appeared upon his lips, a hint of laughter glittering in his gray eyes.

"Ah, yes. I have been known to be a git, as some tell me." She raised an eyebrow knowing that it was very true for she had heard it before coming from the mouths of some first years or others from different houses. There wasn't much that she could do about it but curse a few of them separately but that was only the other houses that she did that to...she couldn't do it to first years, that was a bit too wrong and besides they would either learn what to and not to say or else they would end up like the rest of the others...on the wrong side of Roberta's wand.
"My summer was fine. Filled with lovely gatherings of the purebloods and visits to the Dark Lord. So overall, it was not too bad, not too good. How was yours?" She listened to what he said about his break. She couldn't believe that he was already visiting that crazed man. She didn't agree with everything he did but she never voiced those thoughts knowing that if she did it would mean death. No one,not even Draco or her own sisters, knew what she thought on the matter...all they knew was that she hadn't completely chosen a side yet.
She thought carefully of her own summer. It was boring, her older sister had been gone visiting the dark lord the whole time and Liz had spent the whole time worrying about the O.W.Ls;Which she would be taking next year...she supposed that it didn't help that she had told her if she failed three they expelled her. She didn't know if that was true seeing as she had passed all of her necessary ones her fifth year, she just wanted Lizzy to go away and leave her alone for once. "This summer was boring...unless you call listening to your sister whining about the O.W.Ls fun." She said rolling her eyes at the thought. Sometimes her sister tended to over do it when it came to stuff like that. She relaxed every now and then but sometimes she gets too worked up over things and it gets pretty annoying when you really think about it.

Draco chuckled at Roberta’s facial responses to his words. The girl oft had odd expressions upon her face. She was an odd one, and her face contorted to other people’s words, rather than voicing her response to them. It was an odd thing, really. And quite amusing to watch, really. Her eyebrow had lifted, as his oft did, but much more amusing to see on someone else. “Well, it is true. And you know that quite well, yourself, I do think.” He told her, a smirk upon his lips.
He watched her response to his following comment. He knew that she hadn’t chosen a side yet. He would do everything in his power to get her to join the Dark Lord. It would be for the best, truly. And she would be a good addition as well. She was a good student, and was intelligent. And her reaction time when someone attempted to hit her with a curse was excellent; she could easily dodge a curse and quickly retaliate with one of her own. But that would be saved for another time. “He is not as mad as you may think.” He told her, easily reading her emotions.
Draco smirked at her comment. “I am sorry that you had to put up with such things. I am sure that if you wished to, you could have come to the Manor, instead if staying with your younger sister. Anyways, isn’t your sister in the fourth year? She needn’t worry about such things until her fifth year, to be sure. Fourth year is easy, with no worries about any tests besides final exams. Putting that aside, how has school been so far?”

"Well, it is true. And you know that quite well, yourself, I do think.” She rolled her eyes, she wasn't annoyed but it had become a habit to do around him most times, it wasn't like she could exactly help that it had become natural. Well it was more natural around everyone else too but it was more so around the fool she called on of her closest friends. It was weird but true at the same time. Since day one people had been saying he was a git he never seemed to let it bother him...sometimes,just sometimes, she thought he was a git but he was like a best friend and overlooked it. She still hated it that he was always smirking about something...
“He is not as mad as you may think.” She blinked once wondering how he knew that, how he always knew stuff like that without her having to say a word. "Not as mad? Sure..." She said outloud this time, not caring who heard it. She had her own thoughts on that man and some of them weren't exactly good. "The man is insane." She slipped, "I mean..." She attempted to change it but what was said was said, it was the truth that she did feel that he was a complete nutcase...Dumbledore was worse though.
Putting that aside, how has school been so far?” She nodded, Liz was overreacting a little bit on the school subject but that was Lizbeth for you. "If she would put the book down for once it wouldn't be so terrible but if I would have known I would have stopped by." She said putting emphasis on the word 'Known' It would have beat being stuck around with her parents the whole time. "School is just boring old school, still it's hard to believe that it's our last year here isn't it?" She asked the last bit, time had gone by so fast and she didn't want to believe that it was their seventh and final year at Hogwarts, it was terrifying but a relief at the same time.
