And so it was a boring day. Her friends had run off with their boyfriends (hidden somewhere that Illiana did not know so that the Headmistress and her goons could not find them) and that pretty much left Illiana on her own. And with most of the good-looking boys already taken, that left Illiana without anyone to "play" with.
Her goal of the day was to find someone with who to hang out, but that didn't seem likely. Slytherins appeared to become a larger and larger percentage of the school every day, and Illiana did not want to hang out with them. She much preferred her own house or the Hufflepuffs, maybe even the loutish Gryffindors if she got desperate.
Still, things weren't that bad. It could be a lot worse.
Illiana wandered around the first floor, dressed somewhat inappropriately (the Headmistress hadn't said anything about clothing) in a short skirt and tight shirt. This was her typical attire, fortunately or unfortunately, and she enjoyed having an effect on people.
But even this couldn't help when there were no people around. And Illiana was bored. She sat down on a bench underneath a window and began to consider more radical ideas on how to make her day better. Like taking her hair down and letting the Headmistres see. Or pulling some sort of prank to get Flich angry...

Luke was bored. He had already finished all of his homework and reread all of the letters his siblings had sent him. The library was too stuffy and hot and everyone was outside. None of his friends were too be found so all Luke could do was wander the corridors and hope for something to happen.
The corridors were filled with Slytherins and Luke had a hard time avoiding them. It seemed every corner he turned, he would see another Slytherin. Perhaps it was because he was a sixth year Ravenclaw, or maybe it was because his loyalties were undecided, but Luke was unbothered on his walk from the seventh floor to the first.
It wasn't until the Ravenclaw reached the first floor that he found soeone who wasn't a Slytherin. Walking closer, Luke realized that it was a fellow Ravenclaw.
"Good afternoon," greeted Luke, happy to find someone to talk to.

"Good afternoon," said a boy she recognised from her own house. Very formal, he was. And was it already the afternoon? How time had passed... which was a good thing, mind you, considering her boredom. And he was pretty good-looking. Maybe Illiana ought to take the opportunity...
"Good afternoon yourself," she asnwered. "What is a fine boy like you doing wandering around at a time like this? Don't you have homework?" Of course, if he was a Ravenclaw, he was probably long done it. Which suited Illiana just fine. After all, she may have just found someone with whom to entertain herself. Today might not be the bust she thought it was going to be.
But if she were to do that, they'd probably have to find somewhere away from professors, prefects, and sneaks. Like... well, did it really matter? Illiana hadn't yet chosen a side in all this mess, and neither side wanted to push too hard lest she go to the other. It was nice, really, though she had to endure the tear in her family...
Now to get off that path. Illiana brought her attention back onto the boy, then wondered about him. Was he working for the Order? Or the Death Eaters? Or was he perhaps still stuck in the middle like she was? Well, it wasn't appropriate to ask that just yet. Perhaps she'd find out if they wandered a bit. Depending on who bothered him, she'd know.

"Of course I'm done my homework," answered Luke in a mock-injured voice, "I am a Ravenclaw."
Luke hoped that hanging out with the other Ravenclaw would take his mind off of... things. Things other than boredom that is. Things like family. A family that was beginning to break apart. A family that was already beginning to fray at the edges. It was hard to be the only one in the family to acknowledge that fact and actually care.
"Luke Landrey," introduced Luke, flashing the Ravenclaw girl a confidant smile.
((Meh, it's short, but I don't know what to say. So, ya. ))
