The Second Riftwar
The Empire of Tsuranuanni and the Kingdom of the Isles have lived in peace since the end of the Riftwar, one hundred years ago. After fighting side-by-side against the moredhel and their allies in the Great Uprising, the two worlds have had little contact. Suddenly, reports come in from the Eastern Duchys that Tsurani warriors are on the attack, destroying small villages and garrisons. Pug, the magician who rose to greatness on both worlds, is sent back to Kelewan to ascertain the truth. That was two months ago. There has been no word from Pug since. The King has marshalled the Armies of the East and has ordered the Prince of Krondor to marshal the Armies of the West. What is happening? Are the Tsurani once again trying to conquer Midkemia? Or is it a sinister plot by some dark agency. What part will you play?
