Age: 16
Blood: Half-blood
Gender: Male
Loyalty: Undecided
Favorite Subject/s: Ancient Runes, History for Magic, Defence Against the Dark Arts
Wand: Oak 11.5' dragon heatstring
Personality: The first thing that most people notice about Luke is his lack of trust. Though he is polite, until he truly trusts the person, he does not allow them to get to know him too well. This often makes Luke somewhat a mystery to people who are not his close friends. Luke does not respect anyone unless the person has earned it. Luke often wheres a mask of seriousness though his mischevious side is never far away.
Luke is slow to anger but has a scary temper. His temper is not an outburst but rather a calm sort of controled anger that is ready to lash out at any given moment. The one thing that angers Luke the most is unfairness.
He would always stick up for those too weak to defend themselves but does not consider himself noble. Luke is often sarcastic. He is loyal to those he cares about and would do anyting for them, regardless of the consequences.
History: Lucas Landrey was born in Aberdeen, Scotland. His father was a pureblood and his mother was half-blood. Luke has a brother, Nicolas, who is four years older than him and a sister, Loretta, who is three years younger. Luke has an extensive family but he does not see them very often. Mr. Landrey worked in the ministry for magic as an auror and was not home very often. He made a lot of money which meant that Mrs. Landrey was able to stay at home to look after Loretta. Since leaving school, Nicolas has been training to become an auror like his father. Luke does not plan to follow his father and brother's footsteps. Luke considers Nick his best friend even though the two are almost exact opposites. Nick is blond haired and blue eyed, just like their mother. He is noble and extremely self-sacrificing. In other words, a typical Gryffindor. Loretta was born mute and none of the could do anything to help. So growing up, Luke had to learn sign language to be able to communicate with his little sister. Loretta is home schooled due to her disability. Luke lived in a large house, almost a mansion. Money was never a problem and Luke's childhood was mostly pain free. Mostly. Luke did not always get along with his siblings. When he was younger, he could not stay in the same room as Nick for five minutes without starting an argument and could not stop himself from teasing Loretta for more than ten minutes. (three paragraphs min)
What can you say about your friends? Friends are the second most important thing in Luke's life, behind his family. Friends are there to help and support you, comfort you and occasionally, to use as a punch bag and steal food from.
RP Sample (min of 3 paragraphs): Luke took a deep breath, smelling the sweet air of the country side and the familiar sights of his home. The sun was shining, the temperature was just perfect and birds chiped in the background. Three and a half months was too long. He missed home so much. He missed his room, the house elves' cooking (not that the ones at Hogwarts were bad), the trees (The ones in the Forbidden Forest just weren't the same), the library (the one at school just wasn't the same) and his special hiding place in the woods. But especially Loretta. Luke wondered breifly what Loretta was doing at the moment. "Would you like me to carry your trunk into your romm sir?" interupted a house elf who had just appeared beside Luke. "Yes, please, Vinny. Thank you," replied Luke absentmindedly. He was too focused on the front door that was opening and the young girl who was running out to greet him. Luke opened his arms and braced himself for the impact. Loretta launched herself at her older brother and squeezed Luke, hard. Luke was positive that he had just lost feeling of his lower half. Now the challenge: trying to pry Loretta off of him. This was one reason why Luke hated hugs. Well, he didn't. Not really. But he hated how Loretta just latched on and never lets go and how Nick practically suffocates him each time. No, such open affection really wasn't Luke's style. He only hoped that Nick wasn't home anytime soon. Luke had had enough huggs from his siblings for one day. "I missed you too Loretta. Now can you please let go? I can't feel my legs," said Luke.

A good application, but we require two paragraphs for personality. If you need help in filling that out, feel free to contact an admin. We'd be happy to help, and want you here for this site.
