General Rules
Borderlines on Character and Accounts
Borderlines on Posts and Role-Playing
The above is not allowed at all!
What is allowed:[/u]
» Please try to edit your post, grammar and spelling wise, before posting.
» No “TCCIC” and “SYASPSPST” please.
» No Spamming.
» No double posting. The modify feature of the board is there for a reason.[/blockquote]

Borderlines on Advertisements
» Please read the rules before joining the board and posting.
» Discrimination against sex, race, religion and the likes in anyway will not be tolerated. Members who do not follow this rule will be banned.
» Respect the staff and members of this board at all times. The staff would like to make a friendly environment for everyone and we could not do that without your cooperation.
» I allow Cussing as long as it is not every word. Just keep it like how it is in the books.
» Explicit images or links to it posted on the site would get the poster banned without warning.
» Password protected boards are protected for a reason so if you know you are not supposed to be opening, reading and replying to threads inside a certain password protected forum, do not.
» If you are joining the site just to advertise your board or any other site, please do not.
» Enjoy and have fun!
Borderlines on Character and Accounts
» One character per account. It would be easier for everyone to distinguish your characters.
» Members are allowed to make three accounts at most. If you wish to have more than three accounts and you have a valid reason, just drop a staff member a pm.
» We want everyone to have really names. No iheartharry1234 or snapereallyrockz or hogwartsstudent2008!
» Mary Sues have no place in this site. Create characters not gods and goddesses. Please try to keep everything realistic.
» Keep it to cannon. We do not want to have Ronald Weasley murdered by Harry Potter or James Potter married to Narcissa Black or Minerva McGonagall being even more loyal to the dark lord than Bellatrix.
» Character deaths may only occur if the player of the character agrees and at least a staff member permitted it. In other words, you may not kill someone’s character without his or her permission and a staff member’s approval.
» Student pregnancy and student marriages are strictly prohibited.
» Terminal illnesses (ex. cancer, anorexia, etc.) are not allowed.
» One may only reserve a character for three days. Failure to complete the application would mean that whoever the cannon character one reserved would be available again.
» Made-up characters may not have canon names, not without EXTREMELY believable conditions. We do NOT want gay, mentally crazy twins of Sirius Black or otherwise. No original character related to a canon without long, good histories about their relations to said characters.
Borderlines on Posts and Role-Playing
» All posts must contain at least 5 sensible sentences. Posting less than that would earn you a warning. After three warnings, you will be banned. This rule is strictly upheld, and we WILL monitor all posts. If you need help on what to type to makes a longer post, contact any of the admins for help.[/u]
This is an example of a proper post:Draco did not speak, but simply watched the girl. She seemed advanced for her age, considered her magical ability. But that was completely impossible, unless she was a pureblood, which she doubted. Not many purebloods were sorted into Hufflepuff, actually. The other three were more likely to acquire the pureblood families than Hufflepuff. Anyways, it was completely impossible for her to do such a thing as a first year muggleborn Hufflepuff. It was probably some illegal potion that improved magical abilities, as long as they were actually there.
» When posting Out of Character in a role-play thread, please make sure that your OOC post is shorter than your post in character.
» No god-modding, god-modeling, whatever you call it, allowed. God-modding is taking control of another person's character. Not even the least bit is allowed here. You only can control your own character. Failure to abide by this rule is punished by a warning. More than three warnings upon the same rule gets you banned.
What isn't allowed:
Jimmy sent the Crucio curse towards Tiffany. Tiffany fell to the floor, screaming in pain.

Borderlines on Absences
For Canon Characters
» Two weeks of absence without notice would make your character available again. If you still did not show up after one week, your account would be deleted.
For Non Canon Characters
» Three weeks of absence without notice and your account is deleted.
In Case of Absence with Notice (for Canons and Non Canons)
» Failure to show up after a week of your return date would get your account deleted. (ex. your return date is January 8, 2008 and you still did not show up until January 15, your account would be deleted.)
Borderlines on Graphics
» Avatars should no bigger than 100x100.
» Signatures that stretches the board and those which are abnormally large would be deleted. We do not like to give the people who use Dial-Up a hard time.
» All graphics posted that stretches the boards would be deleted. If you want to post anything that stretches the board, feel free to post the link to it or its thumbnail.
Borderlines on Advertisements
» Post your site advertisements on the advertisements board. Not EVERYWHERE.
» Do not pester other members to join your site or pm anyone endlessly just to get him or her to join.
