The fight for you is all I've ever known... Julia stepped onto the sixth floor corridor at the last second, the staircase switching under her feet. For a moment she almost lost her balance, a high pitched yelp flooding the empty corridor, before she regained herself, and both feet landed, promptly, on the marble floor. Her heart was banging, painfully, against her ribs, and for a moment she wondered if her heart was strong enough to break them. After a few minutes of breathing and calming herself down, she laughed. Hearing her echo come back at her, she laughed harder. What a silly stunt she just pulled! Almost tumbled to her death, she did! And now she was laughing! She was hunched over, trying to regulate her breathing, before she looked around herself. It was far too early for classes to begin, but late enough for her to be able to wonder the school corridors without getting in trouble by any pesky prefects or professors. Clearing her throat, she brushed her school robes flat against her, and proceeded down. Thinking back at her silly mishap, she couldn't stifle another giggle.

Hermione walked around the school, Stupid Malfoy She thought, Hermione was aloud out at any time, and took it in turns with some other people, prefects, teachers and of course Malfoy.
It was Letiti'a turn before her, and she did an extra two hours than she should've done, so Hermione couldn't talk, 4 hours she had been up, FOUR HOURS! And hermione was complaining about a few minutes already, it was quite late, but she new that most students knew it was the best time to walk around, because everyone was already asleep. She was walking the oppisite way, when she stopped in her tracks, hearing a loud giggle, then a huge laugh, she sounded like some wierd anial, like a Hyinna.
Hermione turned around to see a Ravenclaw, "Excuse me" she said, rushing after her. "Shouldn't you be in your Common Room.." she started

Brielle padded up the stairs, causing her hair to bounce wildly around. She had been planning on visiting the Owlery to send a letter to her parents. She was almost to the tower when a yell rang out, followed by laughter. What the? Brielle teetered on the stairs for a second, deciding what to do. She was bored anyway, so why not see what all the noise was about?
She smoothed her hair and straightened her Slytherin tie as she neared the sixth floor. Brielle had always been concerned about her appearance, but lately she had this habit of trying to make herself look perfect 24/7. Obviously, she was setting herself up for failure. Brielle was very pretty...but no one was perfect. I've got to try though.
The sound of a voice made Brielle freeze in her tracks. Her eyes gazed up into the face of an older student. Brielle hadn't talked to her before but she still knew who she was. "Oh," she said softly. Hermione Granger. A small smirk spread across Brielle's face. She couldn't help it, it was like second nature. "Why should she be in her common room? It's not that late." Brielle spoke in a light tone. She wasn't in the mood for a fight or anything, but still. Granger was a Gryffindor!

Letitia came out of the Room of Requirement, writting a song for herself, and some people that requested songs for themselves. She had just finished orginising one of her big parties of the year. Her mother's birthday party, but only for close friends. Unfortunately ofcourse, her mother couldn't be there, so it was just something that they could celebrate without her there. And any excuse for a party, Letitia would take it.
She walked out of the Room of Requirement, she knew that hermione insisted she got some sleep, but that's what coffee was for.
Again, she heard some giggles coming from the stairs, she went over, absently mindly. And saw a few people she remembered, Hermione and Julia.
"Okay, Okay, no need for that..." she said, acting the mediater

Then baby said, "Dance magic, dance!" Excuse meJulia froze, hearing a voice behind her and hurried steps rush to catch up. Oh, merlin. She knew that voice. Hermione Granger, misplaced Gryffindor... At least, that's how her house labled her. Most of them, anyway. Such a mary-sue little witch, Julia couldn't help but hold an ample amount of distaste towards that. No one is that perfect. It's impossible! Shouldn't you be in your Common Room.."No." Julia answered, simply. She shouldn't be in her common room. It was time, after all, for the students to be able to wander... At least, that's what her neckwatch said. She wasn't going to explain herself, completely, to Granger, either. She was Head Girl, she should no better than to ask silly little questions, unless.. Oh, Merlin... She was about to apologize for her being out, she didn't want her house to lose points just because she had a broken neck-watch. Bloody thing, she'd be sure to smash it when she returned to her common room. Hopefully Granger would be lienent? Why should she be in her common room? It's not that lateShe turned her attention to the new girl on the scene. Oh, she knew her. Brielle Temple. Oh, and what luck! A Slytherin! She knew of the Golden Trio's distaste for Slytherins. Maybe this will help her get out of hot water? That would actually be for the best... "See?" She said to Hermione, "It's not that late..." Okay, Okay, no need for that...Julia knew that voice as well. Parker. She cringed. Dispite what that beauty queen thought, Julia friggin' hated that girl. But still, if she thought they were friends, that could work out as well... A small bubble of anger couldn't help but form, in either case.

Hermione was about to say something to the Slytherin, but was interrupted by a farmiliar voice. “I thought your shift was over Parker” Hermione played along. “I said I’m taking over. And for you Ms. Brielle, it is quite late, you shouldn’t be out either, none of yous should be. Ms. Parker shouldn’t be out, seeing it is not her shift. I’d love to hear why you’re all out...” Hermione said, a dangerous glint in her eye.
It was true, Letitia was aloud out, if she wanted to help out for another 2 hours, making it more than double her time, it was up to her....And Hermione couldn’t stop that as much as she wanted to

What are these people on about? Brielle leaned against the nearest wall and folded her arms across her chest. It was a delicate movement, but the defiance was clearly visible in her eyes. Another girl had shown up, a Ravenclaw Prefect. Brielle was unsure about Parker, at least that much was certain. But she didn't have a problem with her. Brielle actually liked Ravenclaws, because that sorting hat had contemplated putting her there.
"...And for you Ms. Brielle, it is quite late, you shouldn’t be out either, none of yous should be. Ms. Parker shouldn’t be out, seeing it is not her shift. I’d love to hear why you’re all out...”
See, this was the type of stuff that lit a fire under Brie's skin. She was one of those types of people that believed in the motto 'don't bother me, and I won't bother you'. Granger is so annoying! A smirk slithered onto Brielle's face and she looked into Hermione's eyes. "Oh!" she said in her high, musical voice. "I get it now! Students aren't allowed to visit the Owlery any more? Is that it?" This is ridiculous. "But if you really must know, Granger," Brielle spit her name, "I came over here to see what all the noise was about."

You're so very special, I wish I was special... Julia was too focused on Letitia to be bothered with Hermione's questions. This was all just beautiful. She really didn't like the girl, she knew Hermione by reputation only, and she had a Slytherin with her. At the thought, she cast a look at Brielle. She didn't know the girl's name (she had ignored Hermione's voice completely), but depending on how the night turned out, she might be learning it. But if you really must know, Granger, I came over here to see what all the noise was about."All the way from the dungeons?" Julia asked, smirking slightly. "Doubtful."

That's it. Brielle was officially irritated. She turned slightly and gave the Ravenclaw girl a cold look. Brielle was not in the mood to fight, but obviously these people wanted to set her off. Isn't she supposed to be a Ravenclaw? Brielle thought with disgust. "Hmmm, maybe I didn't speak clearly enough?" she muttered softly. "I could have sworn that I just said that I was on my way to the Owlery." Brie paused to calm herself down. I'm not going to go off. I'm better than that. "It isn't too far from here, but I'm positive you know that!" she said in a sugary sweet voice. "I was almost there, too. But then I heard your yell, followed by mad laughter." Brielle stopped, unwilling to offer any more explanation that that. Her face had turned pale with anger, her eyes cool as stone. But she would not get into a fight over something as petty as this. I bet Tomb only thinks she won't get in trouble if I do! That's likely.

We won't stop until somebody calls the cops (and even then we'll start again and just pretend that nothing ever happened) "I'm sorry," Julia said, matching Temple's tone, "must 'ave skipped me ears." She purposely thickened her accent, and though she matched the Slytherin's airy tone, she was nearly shooting daggers at her with her eyes. I was almost there, too. But then I heard your yell, followed by mad laughter.Julia couldn't help but grin. That whole experience was a bit hystarical, wasn't it? Near death and all. She partially began to wish she would have fallen down those five flights, maybe show the Headmistress she really had chosen wisely, the students in which she trusted to keep this school in order. Fitting, Bellatrix Black. "Yes, well, those stair cases have the tendency to try and mislead certain students," Julia said, crossing her arms. "You must have stepped on, just as I was stepping off. Figures my near death was the cause of a snake," she bit her bottom lip. To be quite frank, she was purposely starting this argument with Brielle Temple. She wanted them to lose points together, possibly be turned into the Headmistress and put through proper punishment. Curiosity killed the cat, didn't it? Ravenclaws strived to better understand their surroundings... And with the death of Dumbledor, and the new take-over with Bellatrix, Julia was willing to suffer through those punishments to better understand what the students at Hogwarts were really in for. She just wasn't willing to suffer through it alone. And who better to push buttons on than a Slytherin? Too proud to see the game being played right under their snotty little noses. Julia inwardly smirked.

Brielle had to bite her lip to keep the cold laughter that was bubbling in her throat from escaping. A big part of Brielle wanted to just turn around and walk away. She didn't have time for this! But an even bigger part of Brie knew that walking away was as good as giving up. She didn't care that she was the youngest one, or the smallest for that matter. If there was one thing that Brielle simply could not do, it was give up.
Rage was bubbling inside of the small girl, threatening to explode at any minute. But exploding would also be a form of giving up, so keeping her temper under control was a must. Brielle allowed herself to close her eyes briefly and to take a deep breath. When she opened her eyes they were filled with hate. But her smile, it was genuine. Identical to that of a child who'd received their acceptance letter to Hogwarts. Two can play this game.
A smirk flashed across Brielle's face when the girl thickened her accent. Oh! I can do that too. "That's quite alright, Tomb. Everyone has problems sometimes." Brielle now spoke with a rich Spanish accent, but she didn't loose an ounce of sugar from her tone. Another laugh threatened to escape when the Ravenclaw said something about her near death being caused by a snake. Pity. I wish she would have fallen down the stairs. "Well, luckily for you it wasn't. But I always thought birds knew how to fly?" Brielle kicked herself mentally. Throwing insults wasn't going to get her out of this. What does this girl want?

Well aren't we cute for two ugly people? Julia surpressed a smile. At least her attempts on this girl were working. A piece of her wondered why the Prefects hadn't intervined, not that it mattered. If she could push the girl hard enough so they became an endagerment to each other... No, that was too risky. That risked expelshun, or worse... A promise of loyalty. Not that she would mind being expelled too much, this castle was a dead cell waiting to be revived. She just wasn't too sure she wanted to be there when that happened. She had caught that musical tone in Temple's voice, and if she continued along with that sweet act... She was sure she'd snap. She couldn't do it. "Quick witted," Julia said, mock pity playing across her face and voice. "Isn't that... cute?" Not really, and there were a thousand insults that flew through her mind as Temple spilled those words. That spanish accent of hers (she had to admit), was rather lovely. Not that she'd be giving that girl any compliments anytime soon. It was a shame too, the girl seemed fun. However, desperate times did call for desperate measures. This entire ordeal wasn't part of her origonal agenda, but her blood craved understanding, and the plan seemed just fine. If only she could push the girl a little further. This wasn't enough to call the Headmistress into the situation... And if she struck at Brielle first, magically, she'd be facing that freakish woman alone. Whatever she had to do, she had to do it quick. Precious seconds were slipping past, and she was nowhere near where she needed to be.

"Stunning." Brielle's voice had turned razor sharp. She could just feel her sweet and innocent act slipping through her fingers. And try as she might to grab it back, it was rather like grabbing at thin air. Frustrated, Brielle shoved her hands in the pockets of her pants. Her right hand tightened on her wand. What would it take to shut this horrid beast in front of her down? One spell, just a few words. But that would surely get her in trouble. No, she'd have to attack first.
Tightening her grip upon her wand, Brielle fought the urge to curse the Ravenclaw into oblivion. Though she couldn't see them, she knew her knuckles were turning white. Her face flushed paler still, making her complexion almost identical to that of a very fine porcelain doll. A new flare of anger started to register in Brielle. Why the hell isn't Granger doing anything? I bet she'd enjoying this. Ruddy mudblood.
This was all so unfair. Here was a little fifth year Slytherin, who hadn't done anything wrong - yet. So why did it feel like everyone was ganging up on her? "Oh, come out with it." The sugary sweetness was completely lost from her tone, which somehow made her accent a bit edgy. "What. Do. You want from me?" Brielle was practically shaking with rage, and she was starting to frighten herself.

I lose my way and it's not too long before you point it out What did she want from her? Oh, nothing really. Just for her to lose her temper, possibly have the two of them brawl (not enough to get either of them seriously hurt, of course), and get sent to the Headmistress' office. It wasn't really too much to ask for, was it? Of course Julia wasn't prepared to respond to that question. She wasn't a liar, and she wasn't going to allow herself to completely, utterly, blow this to the girl. "The same thing most studends at this school want." She answered simply, "You're not the key to it, but this is proving itself..." She grinned and turned her head to look out the darkened window. The painted glass made it nearly impossible to see outside, and for a few moments it was all she could focus on. "You're proving to be nearly impossible." She muttered under her breath, unsure if the Slytherin girl could hear her or not. Looking back at the girl, she mustered a smile, "Why don't you just run along and write your 'miss you, hogwarts is mental' letters to yer mum? Maybe you'll get lucky and she'll actually respond to her poor excuse for a daughter."

Oh, well that was helpful. The same thing most students want? What is that supposed to mean? Brielle gave Julia the most evil look she could muster, sending a thousand messages with her eyes. This was so hard for Brielle. She was completely confused by this girl. It was almost as if she was enticing Brie...but no. Who actually did stuff like that?
"Difficult doesn't even begin to cover it." A sudden pulse in her left hand made Brielle look down. She'd taken her hand out of her pocket and clenched it into a fist without noticing, and now she'd broken the skin. "I suppose you think you're clever and all? Trying to start something when there is nothing?"
Well, this just wasn't going to work. Wide eyed, Brielle looked at the now smiling Tomb. As much as Brie wanted to pretend that hadn't stung, she couldn't. Though most people saw her as a confident sort of person, deep down Brielle was very insecure. It the Ravenclaw would have named and other member of her family then Brielle would have brushed it off. Yet the girl had called her out on her mother?
The paleness in Brielle's face was replaced with a deep red, the coldness in her eyes became glassy. Despite her previous efforts she was now shaking with rage. It was a struggle, but she managed to force the sweetness back into her voice. "First, you've no leave to speak a word against me or any of my family." She had to pause to take a breath. Brielle couldn't tell what was more infuriating either. The fact that this girl, who couldn't be that much older, was speaking to her as if she was a child? Or the fact that she'd just honed in of her biggest fear - being a bad representation of the family. All Brielle knew was that any ideas of verbal retaliation had been wiped from her thoughts. She'd never felt so small, so deflated in her life. Brie began to pull her wand out with her right hand. She was so close to snapping, to making this girl regret that she'd ever messed with Brielle Kailey Temple.
